Ericsson is seeking an LTE Developer for a 1-year paid internship in Łódź, Poland. This role involves working on 4G telecommunication products, enhancing OneRAN solutions, and developing automated test cases, primarily using C++. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodology to design, develop, and implement innovative 4G OneRAN technology solutions.
  • Influence the development of Traffic Control, Baseband, and System functionalities.
  • Work on the optimization and performance tuning of software components.
  • Provide technical support for development teams.
  • Develop competencies in a complex technical domain.
  • Actively participate in and drive technical discussions on software quality with global teams inside and outside our unit.

Requirements

  • Finishing or completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Required technical knowledge and skills: C++, Git, software development, software testing, and software troubleshooting.
  • Good spoken and written English skills.
  • Analytical approach, willingness to take on new responsibilities, building strong partnerships and collaboration.
  • Availability: 40 hours per week

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with OpenShift Container Platform and Cloud Computing is desirable.
  • Interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
  • Initial experience using AI tools in programming or testing (e.g. code assistants, log analyzers, or similar).
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt and respond to change.
  • A spirit of creativity with a can-do attitude.
  • Motivation and curiosity to explore and learn.
