Responsibilities
- Oversee and streamline all logistics operations for domestic and international shipments.
- Manage and coordinate activities for smooth global supply chain flow.
- Maintain compliance with U.S. regulations and international trade requirements.
- Provide master scheduling and process management for the Logistics Team.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies, transportation safety, regulatory compliance, cost control, and customer satisfaction plans.
- Lead and mentor the logistics workforce and warehouse personnel.
- Design and optimize transportation processes, ensuring adherence to DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Establish and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and logistics vendors.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable service levels.
- Analyze logistics metrics and KPIs to monitor performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Spearhead trade compliance initiatives, ensuring import/export activities comply with international regulatory standards.
- Audit HTS codes and manage duty drawback claims and Temporary Import Bonds effectively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, and customer service teams.
- Champion the company’s "Safety First" policy by integrating sustainable and safe practices into all logistics operations.
- Perform other logistics or trade compliance duties as needed.
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of progressive experience managing import/export logistics and complying with complex trade regulations is preferred.
- Prior experience holding or familiarity with a Customs Broker license is advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields is required, or equivalent professional experience.

- Sound critical thinking abilities.
- Expertise in shipping operations, customs clearance processes, cost analysis, and supply chain information systems is essential.
- Ability to perform effectively both independently and collaboratively in high-pressure situations is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Power BI is mandatory.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet business objectives is expected.
