Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted legal advisor to commercial and operational teams in Southeast Asia and India.
- Support sub-regional strategy from a legal and compliance perspective.
- Manage assigned legal matters relating to commercial activities, including sales and contracts.
- Provide legally sound support for manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, and supply-chain related matters.
- Oversee legal compliance and implement Group and APAC compliance frameworks.
- Support the creation and implementation of data privacy policies.
- Ensure all legal matters align with Group Legal governance, policies, and guidelines.
- Escalate material legal risks and sensitive matters to the General Counsel, APAC.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law; Master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 7 years of experience in legal compliances, governance, and acting as a business partner with legal firms and multinational corporations.
- Regional working scope with experience in both commercial and manufacturing sectors is preferred.
- Strong English communication ability (both written and spoken).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders across functions.
