Alstom is seeking a full-time, on-site Legal Counsel in Cairo, Egypt. This role requires providing expert legal guidance on complex agreements, claim management, dispute settlement, corporate law, and ensuring compliance with international standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various internal teams and support business operations and growth.

Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance and strategic solutions on legal issues.
Support the Contract Management team and Cluster legal Director.
Assist bid teams during the tender process, including contractual and legal assessment.
Proactively manage and instruct litigation, arbitration, or other dispute resolution.
Handle corporate law matters.
Ensure compliance with international law and project-specific legal requirements.

Requirements

Degree in Law.
Experience or understanding of international business law and legal practices in an international business environment or law firm.
Knowledge of complex project structures and public tender processes.
Good drafting and negotiation skills.
Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
