Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis to understand client needs, challenges, and opportunities, translating them into clear and concise functional specifications.
- Analyze available options, considering feasibility, cost, and alignment with business requirements and suggest solutions.
- Participate and facilitate the walkthrough to brief the functional specification mapping to business requirements.
- Prepare and / or aid the preparation of test cases in line with functional requirements.
- Tackle complex business problems and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Leader with Business/Data analyst experience in a financial services environment
- Experience of Data Products: Foundational and Business in a financial services environment
- Strong SQL skills and experience of operating in a Data Platform environment
- Experience of requirements gathering, solution design and change delivery in line with control and governance standards
- Data modelling and mapping experience including understand types of data schema and ability to define, describe and document data lineages and translations
- Experience of delivering change in an Agile framework and working with Jira/Confluence tools
- Self-driven, proactive and demonstrates initiative with strong problem solving abilities
- Strongly collaborative in nature with the ability to see the bigger picture
- Highly communicative and influential, able to manage conflict with ability to express technical complexities in accessible terms
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate preferably with a technology based degree
- Avaloq books & record knowledge – highly desirable
