Responsibilities

Act as the primary escalation point for complex VDI issues like login failures, profile corruption, and session disconnects.
Create, update, patch, and maintain master/golden images for virtual desktops.
Manage desktop pools, user assignments, provisioning methods (like MCS/PVS), and virtual machine sizing.
Track system performance, server alerts, infrastructure health, and capacity planning.
Adhere to change management processes, document root cause analysis (RCA), and maintain knowledge base articles.

Requirements

Proficiency in VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), or Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
Strong knowledge of Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), DNS, and DHCP.
Windows 10/11 and Windows Server administration.
Experience using monitoring utilities like Control Up, Citrix Director, or vCenter.

Desired Qualifications

Preferred credentials include VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V), or ITIL Foundation.
