Responsibilities

  • Perform analyses to determine desired maintenance parts inventory for critical operational equipment.
  • Interface with equipment vendors to obtain equipment service recommendations, parts lists, and quotations.
  • Oversee database development and management projects such as parts inventory, pipe database, and warehouse inventory management.
  • Assist with Lab operation improvement projects targeting safety, functionality, and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Sophomore standing or above
  • Ability to work full-time during the co-op term
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings

Desired Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Proficient written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technology
  • Basic understanding of electronic instrumentation/equipment as well as knowledge of analog and digital communication signals
  • Programming skills with industrial automation software such as DeltaV
