In short

We are seeking a Java Technical Specialist with a focus on DevOps and AWS. This role involves managing EKS clusters, AWS infrastructure, Jenkins administration, and Helm deployments. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience and strong AWS skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and upgrade EKS clusters, including version upgrades, node group rotations, and add-on compatibility.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes issues like pod failures, OOMKills, scheduling problems, and networking.
  • Handle Jenkins administration, including pipeline debugging, plugin upgrades, and controller/agent connectivity.
  • Manage AWS infrastructure such as EC2 instance rehydration, ASG self-healing, and ALB/ELBv2 target health.
  • Perform instance rehydration and capacity management across auto-scaling groups.
  • Respond to infrastructure incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document post-incident reports.
  • Maintain and improve Helm chart deployments and manage releases across environments.
  • Manage IAM roles, cross-account access (STS AssumeRole), and security group configurations.
  • Maintain SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle across internal and external endpoints.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience, EKS preferred.
  • Strong AWS skills: EC2, ASG, ALB/ELBv2, Route53, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, STS.
  • Experience with Helm for chart authoring and release management.
  • Jenkins administration experience, including pipeline authoring and build failure investigation.
  • Docker experience for image builds and container registry management (ECR).
  • Infrastructure-as-code mindset with comfort in reading and modifying YAML configurations.
