Support strategic transformation initiatives within the People & Culture function by mapping workflows, identifying process improvements, and enhancing operational effectiveness. Responsibilities

  • Partner with People & Culture leaders to understand workflows and operational challenges.
  • Document end-to-end processes and value streams across People & Culture functions.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce complexity and improve employee experience.
  • Research industry and HR best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in designing future-state processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Define and document key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics.
  • Assist in identifying predictive metrics for organizational health and workforce trends.
  • Support data collection, analysis, and visualization activities.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks for informed business decisions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and process maps.
  • Assist in drafting practical and user-friendly policies and procedures.
  • Ensure documentation balances consistency and governance.
  • Build relationships with leaders and team members across the People & Culture organization.
  • Conduct interviews and workshops to understand business needs.
  • Partner with stakeholders to validate recommendations and drive adoption.
  • Support change management and communication activities.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial Engineering, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
  • OR Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Business Administration (MBA) with Human Resources focus, or a related field.
  • Fall interns may work up to 30 hours per week.
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
  • Have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies.

  • Coursework or experience in Process Improvement.
  • Coursework or experience in Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Coursework or experience in Organizational Design.
  • Coursework or experience in Workforce Analytics.
  • Coursework or experience in Business Process Mapping.
  • Coursework or experience in Change Management.
  • Coursework or experience in Data Analysis.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using Power BI.
  • Experience using Visio, Lucidchart, or process mapping tools.
  • Experience using PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 applications.
