IKEA Maebashi is seeking individuals for their Customer Relations team, handling cashier and service counter duties. This is a student contract role (part-time) with the possibility of transitioning to short-time regular employment. No prior experience or academic background is required; a passion for home furnishings and strong customer service skills are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Handle cashier duties at the checkout service.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and guide them through the store.
  • Manage Smaland (childcare service) and handle returns at the service counter.
  • Manage shopping tools, support the delivery counter, and assist online order customers.
  • Perform cart collection duties.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work on weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work flexibly according to store operating hours (weekends, early/late shifts).
  • Ability to create a monthly shift schedule (starting on the 1st of each month).
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.

Benefits

  • Hourly wage of 1,180 JPY for student contract (up to 20 hours/week).
