As an IKEA Food Team Leader in Matosinhos, Portugal, you will be responsible for driving sales and inspiring customers within the food and restaurant department. You will lead by example, maintain a commercial and inviting environment, and promote a safety-first culture.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the customer in focus and take action to optimise sales and inspire our customers.
  • Ensure your area of responsibility is commercial, clean, tidy, attractive and inviting.
  • Ensure products are in perfect condition and correctly priced at all times.
  • Be passionate about the food we serve and sell, and actively learn about it and share your knowledge with customers and colleagues.
  • Contribute and support the implementation of the store Business Plan and IKEA Food action plan.
  • Promote a safety first culture, as well as coach others in ensuring routines and requirements are known and followed in all daily work.

Requirements

  • Sales driven and service minded with experience of serving customers.
  • Passion for food.
  • Experience from and enjoy working in a vibrant retail environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to execute action plans.
  • Inspiration from the IKEA leadership approach and leading by example.
