IKEA Food is looking for a Full Time Co-worker in New Delhi who is passionate about food, customer experience, and sustainability. This role involves contributing to daily operations in various IKEA Food areas while upholding food safety standards and promoting a positive brand image.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the daily operations of the IKEA Food areas (Restaurant, Bistro, Kitchen, or Swedish Food Market).
  • Act on customer feedback and continuously look for ways to improve the food experience.
  • Ensure global and national compliance and food safety standards are implemented and maintained at all times.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for IKEA and IKEA Retail Food, promoting a safe, healthy, sustainable, and joyful food experience.
  • Support and apply retail foundations and sales steering tools to optimize sales and commercial results.
  • Work proactively to exceed customer expectations and create a welcoming, efficient environment.
  • Contribute to the unit business plan and IKEA Retail Food goals by supporting daily operations and teamwork.
  • Take responsibility for your own learning and development, and contribute to building a high-performing team.
  • Support IKEA’s sustainability goals by reducing waste, improving efficiency, and promoting environmentally friendly practices.

Requirements

  • Passionate about food, people, and creating a positive experience for every customer.
  • Inspired by the IKEA culture and values.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment — preferably in retail or hospitality.
  • Care deeply about food safety, quality, and sustainability.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and a great team player, able to take initiative and responsibility for your own work.
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic and ever-changing environment where no two days are the same.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, and know how to build trustful relationships.
  • Motivated by providing an excellent customer experience and continuously finding better ways to work.
