Alstom seeks a full-time IAM Governance Leader in Bangalore to shape and drive Identity and Access Management governance, ensuring compliance with security policies. The role involves designing IAM strategies, managing user lifecycles, and leading a cross-functional team to implement new security solutions and provide risk oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Design IAM mechanisms and policies.
  • Manage the lifecycle of user accounts.
  • Coordinate with external partners.
  • Lead the development of functional and technical roadmaps for IAM initiatives.
  • Manage and lead a cross-functional IAM team, providing mentorship and driving team engagement.
  • Ensure the operational readiness and effectiveness of the IAM service.
  • Audit IAM systems and processes while driving compliance with security policies and standards.
  • Improve the quality of IAM services delivered by external partners and ensuring adherence to service agreements.
  • Lead the adoption of new IAM security solutions, such as B2B operations and single sign-on (SSO) processes.
  • Provide risk oversight and actionable insights to support informed decision-making by security leadership.
  • Develop and maintain IAM policies, instructions, and awareness across business and technical teams.
  • Analyze internal and external threats and recommending remediation actions based on IAM capabilities.
  • Drive measurable IAM security metrics to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in IAM security operations and governance.
  • Proven experience in people management and building high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of IAM domains, including SSO, Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • Hands-on experience with IAM solutions like Saviynt AAG, Microsoft Azure, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of ISO 27002 and ISO 27005 standards.
  • Ability to design IAM security patterns, including provisioning, authentication, and access governance.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with proficiency in tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, resilience, and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, GIAC, or CISM (preferred).
