Human Resources – Graduate Leadership Development Program
What will you do?
Our HR GLDP enables participants to experience multiple rotation assignments over two years to provide a broad experience in different facets of HR while allowing for exposure to our core processes, technologies, and leaders. All HR GLDP rotations are onsite and each rotation is individually designed and determined through a combination of business priorities, previous experience, development needs, and individual interests which allows you to be located at any US Thermo Fisher Scientific location. The HR GLDP rotations expose program participants to diverse functional areas, business units, products/services, and regions. Additional learning opportunities support the accelerated nature of the program and will include: formal learning sessions; an Executive Mentor program; utilization of our Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodology; and a network of Leadership Development Program alumni across the organization. The Program Manager will partner with participants to align on post-program placement and identify positions where graduates will continue to hone critical Human Resource competencies.
Please Note: The HR GLDP is set to begin July 15, 2024 and individuals are responsible for finalizing housing and transportation prior to program commencement and across each rotation throughout the two (2) year program.
Rotations include exposure to:
- Talent Management
- Talent Acquisition
- Corporate Total Rewards
- Employee Relations
Through these rotation experiences, you will get exposure to our various field client groups, manufacturing plants, HR processes and systems, and senior leaders. Opportunities to work on key HR strategic projects may also be available.
Relocation is required both during and after completion of the program. The HR GLDP affords participants an extraordinary opportunity to produce results, quickly gain credibility and develop a strong company network over two years. From a post-program placement perspective, participants will work with the Program Manager to identify HR positions in which to interview across the organization.
