Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, coaching, conduct, and policy interpretation.
- Investigate and resolve workplace concerns by gathering information, documenting findings, and recommending appropriate actions.
- Maintain a visible presence on the production floor to build relationships, address questions, and support an inclusive and engaged work environment.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for production and skilled trade roles, including pre-employment processes.
- Partner with leaders and cross-functional teams to support communication, safety initiatives, and a positive workplace culture.
- Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits guidance, and engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR records, analyze and report HR metrics, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field – equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience supporting HR functions such as employee relations and engagement, recruiting, training, or safety in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to use standard business software tools to manage data and communication.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to build trust and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to listen and respond effectively.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%).
- Legal Authorization to work in the US, sponsorship will not be provided.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Broader experience across multiple HR disciplines or increased depth in employee relations and talent acquisition.
- Familiarity with HR information systems such as Oracle or workforce management tools such as Kronos.
- Experience using HR data and metrics to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
