Amazon's HR Regional Partners are front-line consultants supporting managers with HR policies, processes, and employee experience. This role involves advising on people matters, managing sensitive employee issues, and collaborating with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence across India.
Responsibilities
- Support managers with sensitive and complex employee issues including disciplinary, performance improvement, and grievance processes.
- Act as an influential partner in talent and performance management, people development, HR policies, and organizational changes.
- Analyze data and trends on Employee Relations and performance management to provide input to business strategy.
- Support relevant ER processes, including disciplinary & performance improvement programs.
- Consult managers on people matters requiring in-depth knowledge of policies, procedures, and local legislation.
- Enable the success of managers by leveraging, delivering, and improving training content.
- Support managers and employees in identifying training opportunities and development initiatives.
- Act as stewards of the employee experience and Amazon’s culture.
- Design and deliver Manager Education initiatives.
- Analyze data and observations across the organization, highlighting trends and recommending solutions.
- Manage employees’ programs and support managers and HR leaders to drive improvements in employee experience.
- Provide support to HR Business Partners and the business on change initiatives.
Requirements
- Master's degree or above in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment, influencing strategy, and achieving goals by working across the organization.
- Ability to work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks.
- 3+ years of human resource business partner or blend of operations and HR experience.
