ABB is seeking an experienced HR Operations Delivery Manager to oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle services across the AMEA and North America regions. This leadership role involves managing a team of 40+ HR professionals, driving operational excellence, championing transformation initiatives like automation and AI, and ensuring compliance with global standards and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in global HR operations, strong people leadership, and proficiency in HR technologies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end HR service delivery across AMEA, North America, and Canada, ensuring excellence in quality, compliance, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of 40+ HR professionals, driving performance, engagement, succession planning, and a culture of accountability.
- Act as the senior escalation point for HR operations, partnering with HR leaders, business stakeholders, and regional teams to deliver exceptional employee experiences.
- Lead process improvement, automation, AI adoption, M&A integrations, and HR transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Govern employee lifecycle processes, data integrity, labor law compliance, audits, and risk management while shaping the future HR Operations strategy and roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (minimum 15 years of formal education) required; MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in HR Shared Services/HR Operations within global organizations, with strong expertise across employee lifecycle processes, service delivery, and operational excellence.
- Mandatory 5+ years leading large, high-performing teams, with demonstrated success in performance management, employee relations, coaching, succession planning, and leading through change.
- Experience managing multi-country or multi-cluster HR operations, preferably across Asia, Middle East & Africa, and/or North America, with strong cultural awareness and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, statutory compliance, HR governance, and global regulatory frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in ServiceNow, Workday, SAP, and advanced MS Office tools.
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant professional certifications such as SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent are a plus.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.
