As Head of Digital Workflow Platforms at Saab, you will lead the digital transformation by managing platforms and capabilities that enable digital workflows and process automation across the organization. This leadership role focuses on turning business needs into scalable digital solutions, with a strong emphasis on ServiceNow as the primary strategic platform, to improve service delivery and deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and engage employees and leaders, building capabilities for future business and technology demands.
Set the strategic direction, priorities, and transformation roadmap for Digital Workflow Platforms.
Take end-to-end accountability for the performance, security, resilience, and lifecycle of the platform and its services.
Lead the evolution of ServiceNow as a centrally governed enterprise platform, enabling scalable and decentralized development and use through clear guardrails.
Translate business needs into prioritized platform capabilities and drive digitalization and automation of end-to-end processes.
Drive adoption of AI, low-code, and intelligent automation to improve efficiency and business value.
Build strong collaboration across business functions, Group IT, vendors, and partners to align priorities and maximize value.
Continuously evolve the operating and delivery model to enable efficient, scalable delivery without bottlenecks.
Take financial ownership of the area and contribute actively to the Core Enterprise Platforms and Applications management team.

Requirements

Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Strong people leadership and talent development capabilities.
Experience leading platform, product, or service organizations in complex IT environments, combining operational delivery with transformation.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow as a strategic enterprise platform and of ITSM, process automation, and digital workflow design.
Experience establishing platform governance, architecture principles, and guardrails that enable secure and scalable development across central and decentralized teams.
Strong business understanding and experience translating business needs into prioritized platform capabilities and measurable outcomes.
Experience driving organizational and technology transformation in large, complex, and global organizations.
Strong stakeholder, vendor, and partner management capabilities.
Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around security protection.

Experience in providing core platform capabilities and business-facing solutions supporting areas such as IT Service Management, Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance, HR, Customer Service Management, CMDB and digital service experiences.
