Responsibilities

Recruit passive candidates by profiling and assessing their motivations, rather than selling the role.
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and relationship management.
Conduct in-depth interviews to anticipate hiring manager preferences and achieve high offer-to-interview ratios.
Recommend recruitment strategies for long-range company growth.
Implement and refine recruiting processes to align with Amazon's mission of delivering high-quality results.
Articulate plans with deliverables, timelines, and tracking processes in writing.
Proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search, and other channels for remote sites.
Conduct candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess fit.
Filter candidates during the recruiter phone screen.
Conduct on-phone and virtual candidate screening to assess qualifications and skill alignment.
Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, X-ray search, GitHub, and other sourcing tools.

Requirements

2+ years of progressive recruiting or research experience in a corporate or search firm setting.
Proven ability and sharp thinking to proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/Open web, and other sourcing channels for remote sites.
Experience in conducting candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess the right fit, with the ability to filter the right candidates during recruiter phone screen.
Must-have skills include Boolean and Advanced Search capabilities.
Create targeted Boolean strings to identify candidates with niche technical skills.
Skilled at requirement gathering, sourcing, and screening candidates in specialized technical fields.
Articulate role-based value proposition to the candidate.
Ability to build strategies and brainstorm efficient and creative sourcing solutions for stakeholders.
Experience with a contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates.
Ability to curate market intelligence for saturated markets.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience.
Experience managing high volume as well as niche hiring.
Understanding of market intelligence to source the right talent from targeted organizations.
