Responsibilities

Handle tasks on application engineering: Engine and Vehicle testing, Data generation, its analysis, Customer Adaptation and In-vehicle Protocol tests.
Support engine and vehicle testing for various stakeholders at different test sites for Homologation and Certification/CoP.
Use tools like MATLAB, Simulink, Python to build models and run simulations for OBD for various functions.
Contribute through simulations to find the Root Cause and provide sustainable long-term solutions for challenging field issues.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Automobile engineering (or similar).
Passion to work with automobiles and commercial vehicles.
Prior exposure to mechanical and common rail fuel injection systems/engines.
Exposure to automobile testing, Engine Dyno Testing.
Experience in student competitions such as SAE Baja, supra with work on powertrain components.
Prior exposure to simulation software such as MATLAB Simulink.
Ability to work with large sets of data for analysis.
Prior exposure to instrumentation such as data loggers and sensors and knowledge in communication protocols (CAN/LIN).
A willingness to learn and take more responsibility with can-do attitude.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Open to travel locally and for assignments.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of emission and OBD calibration would be a bonus.
