The role involves driving silicon bring-up, failure analysis, and validation of next-generation GPU IP, debugging complex silicon issues from initial bring-up through customer sampling.

Responsibilities

Drive GPU post-silicon bring-up, validation, and debug.
Analyze and root-cause complex silicon failures across hardware and software.
Improve pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation coverage.
Debug issues using JTAG, kernel debuggers, emulation platforms, and silicon debug tools.
Work closely with architecture, RTL design, verification, and software teams to develop end-to-end solutions for silicon issues.
Support failure analysis and debugging of customer-returned devices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience; OR Master's degree and 2+ years; OR PhD and 1+ year.
Strong understanding of post-silicon bring-up, validation, and debugging methodologies.
Good understanding of computer architecture and ASIC design/verification flows.
Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog, UVM, C/C++, and Python.
Familiarity with AHB/AXI protocols.
Experience with emulation environments and silicon debug tools, including JTAG and kernel debuggers.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Desired Qualifications

Understanding of GPU architecture and graphics pipelines.
Exposure to graphics/compute APIs such as Vulkan, Direct3D, OpenGL, or OpenCL.
