ABB is seeking a Global Sales & Operations Planning Leader to elevate their S&OP process and connect it with S&OE, aiming to enhance global customer demand fulfillment. This hybrid role involves leading improvement projects, designing the S&OP process from an operations perspective, and managing stakeholders within a global organization. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, over 5 years of SCM experience, and advanced knowledge of SAP MM, PP, and WM modules.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate unit-specific and cross-unit projects to improve planning and fulfillment metrics.
  • Design and implement the S&OP process from an operations perspective, focusing on Supply Planning and reconciliation.
  • Manage stakeholders and define roles and responsibilities within the S&OP process.
  • Govern the monthly Global Business Supply Planning drumbeat and related KPIs and reporting.
  • Further develop the S&OE process and connect S&OE and S&OP processes.
  • Facilitate the Supply Planning drumbeat, related reviews, and approvals.
  • Identify and propose projects to advance the internal planning process using SAP MM, SAP PP, and an advanced planning tool.
  • Perform standard and ad hoc analyses related to S&OP and S&OE metrics.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for S&OP and S&OE, establishing best practices and conducting assessments.
  • Build competencies within the organization by training and coaching the Planning & Fulfillment community.
  • Facilitate fit-gap analyses of IBP-related IS tools and assist with deployment of standard IS solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • More than 5 years of working experience in SCM or Planning & Fulfillment.
  • Proven track record of improving Planning & Fulfillment, especially in Sales & Operations Planning implementation and improvement.
  • Strong expertise in Planning & Fulfillment domains: Planning and Disposition, Sales & Operations Planning, and Execution.
  • Key skills and execution experience in Supply Planning.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP MM, PP, and WM modules.
  • Further knowledge of advanced planning tools such as SAP APO, Anaplan, or others.
  • Experience in the application of Project Management and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong leadership capabilities across team boundaries and with limited formal authority.
  • Customer-focused and action-oriented, with a systematic and structured approach.
  • Cultural awareness and the ability to work within a global organization.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Solid consulting and facilitation skills.
