Responsibilities

  • Lead teams in creating strategic visions and account plans aligned with Microsoft's value proposition and partner business goals.
  • Identify high-level opportunities with partners using industry expertise and market insights to position Microsoft as an industry leader.
  • Develop deep, trusted-advisor relationships with complex partners and ensure teams understand partner and Microsoft priorities.
  • Analyze partner capacity and capabilities, deploying training and incentives to foster a learning culture and drive sales.
  • Coach teams to develop effective go-to-market and co-selling strategies across accounts.
  • Drive a high-quality partner business planning process that encourages growth, cloud consumption, and digital transformation.
  • Establish long-term partner recruitment strategies to identify and recruit new partners or expand current partnerships.
  • Focus on team development, mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning.
  • Embody company culture and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science, or related field AND 10+ years of experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry, OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Business Science, or an Advanced Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or related field AND 12+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry, OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of people management experience.
  • 5+ years experience in building teams, excelling in the hiring process, and making hiring recommendations.
  • 5+ years experience in performance management, setting expectations, conducting evaluations, providing feedback, creating development plans, and correcting performance problems.
  • 5+ years experience building and implementing sales strategies, out-of-the-box thinking, and unique approaches to manage pipeline and meet sales goals.
  • Demonstrated partner experience in establishing strategic partner frameworks that have driven hundreds of millions in revenue.
  • Excel in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to convey complex business and technical information.
  • Proficient delegator with ability and willingness to pass responsibility for completion of work to others.
  • Proven track record of delivering keynote addresses to large audiences and representing a large organization as a leader.
