The GBO People Services Specialist will execute work to capture and maintain co-worker lifecycle data, produce HR documentation, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy in personnel administration. This role requires a university degree and 1 year of experience, or minimum 3 years of related experience, with HRMS software and human resources administration, including payroll, benefits, compensation, and/or recruitment. Responsibilities

  • Execute work to capture and maintain all relevant co-worker life cycle data in the appropriate systems.
  • Produce all relevant human resource documentation complying with relevant legislation, service level agreements, and Ingka policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of personnel administration and P&C services.
  • Seek guidance to develop own goals and objectives in line with team goals.
  • Monitor the quality of services and partner to address issues.

Requirements

  • University degree and 1 year of related experience, or minimum 3 years of related experience.
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a shared services/call center environment for a large national company.
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience with SAP, HRMS or other related HRMS software.
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in Human Resources, including concepts and administration of Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and/or Recruitment.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Federal, State, and Local legislative employment and health care laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience providing an excellent level of customer service through live phone calls, email, and chat.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the use of a computer and software applications including Microsoft Office.
  • Interpersonal skills and comfortable working with all levels in the organization.
  • Candidate must be commutable to White Marsh, MD.
