In short

Manage and optimize operations in a high-volume distribution, fulfilment, or logistics environment. Lead and develop a team, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellent customer experience, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage efficiency, improvements, and new operational processes across inbound, replenishment, outbound, and services execution.
  • Foster close cooperation and communication with internal teams and external providers to ensure high goods availability and order fulfilment at the lowest cost.
  • Ensure team compliance with IKEA's code of conduct, SOPs, regulations, and local legislation regarding health, safety, security, and environment.
  • Lead, coach, develop, and inspire a high-performing Fulfilment Operations team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Oversee the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability agenda.

Requirements

  • University degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume distribution, fulfilment, retail, logistics, or similar environment.
  • People-focused leadership style (open, empowering, collaborative).
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of customer and co-worker needs, expectations, and market trends is an asset.
