In short

This role supports the Food & Beverage manager in a retail environment, focusing on customer satisfaction and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The Team Leader is responsible for leading shifts in the absence of the manager and spending most of their time on the floor assisting customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Support manager to fulfil the purpose of the function and development of the IKEA business.
Provide irresistible food offers in a welcoming atmosphere.
Line responsible during the work shift when the manager of the area is not present.
Lead by example.
Spend at least 80% of working time on the floor, listening, acting, helping and supporting customers and co-workers.
Make people smile.

Requirements

Experience of working in vibrant retail environment with proven track record.
Experience of serving customers.
Experience of working with an KPI-driven action plan.
IKEA sales experience and knowledge of IKEA merchandising techniques.
Experience of supervising and working in a team.
Experience of developing action plans.
Knowledge of the IKEA Concept, including our vision and business idea, IKEA culture and values, and how we create our business advantages.
Decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritise and organise work.
Takes responsibility and can delegate when necessary.
Communicates well with others.
