FinOps Specialist - AR, Global Account Receivables

As a FinOps Specialist for Global Accounts Receivable, you will manage accounts receivable, resolve customer queries and disputes, and perform cash applications with a focus on meeting SLAs. This role involves research, reconciliation, and coordination with customers, with opportunities to contribute to process improvement projects and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely closure of payments with high accuracy.
Respond to customer queries via call and/or email.
Research unapplied payments and identify root causes with customers.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and resolve escalations.
Propose ideas for process standardization and automation.
Perform complex reconciliations of customer payments.
Conduct quality control and provide training to the team.
Address technical discrepancies with the ERP system.

Requirements

1+ years of finance experience.
2+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience.
2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills.
Experience using data to influence business decisions.
Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting.
3+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience.
Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives.
Knowledge of Excel skills to refine data and prepare business reports.
Bachelor's degree.

Desired Qualifications

2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL.
3+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
