Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Financial Controller in Prague to ensure accurate financial reporting, internal cost efficiency, and strategic analysis. This hybrid role requires 2-3 years of finance and accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Control business financial costs and ensure compliance with internal rules.
  • Develop an internal control environment to protect company assets and identify efficiency gains.
  • Prepare and present functional cost analysis, defining trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Prepare operational and financial analysis reports, reviewing and standardizing reporting packages.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely reporting, managing reconciliations and periodical closing.
  • Highlight red flags, set action plans, and maintain open communication.
  • Support monthly score card packages and ad hoc analysis.
  • Participate in preparing Board pack presentations, organizational plans, and audits.
  • Support BC and Shared Services teams with daily operations.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies, processes, and reports.
  • Drive production and standardization of various reports, including project and travel spend.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, ideally with exposure to leadership responsibilities.
  • Solid understanding of F&A processes and sound accounting knowledge.
  • Great people and project management capabilities with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and a sharp analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Familiarity with Atlas Copco’s The Way We Do Things and Code of Conduct.
  • Self-driven and independent, with a curious mind, critical thinking, and a deep sense of ownership.
  • Motivated to deliver results in an international environment.
  • Skilled at building and nurturing positive relationships across teams.
  • Open to occasional travel.
