Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Financial Controller in Prague to support business lines with financial performance oversight. Responsibilities include monthly closing, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and detailed financial analysis. This hybrid role requires strong analytical and Excel skills, with experience in ERP and BI tools being advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in line with Group timelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of management reporting packages.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning processes.
  • Analyze financial performance, KPIs, margins, and cost structures, highlighting variances vs. budget and forecast.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to understand business drivers.
  • Prepare presentations and dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with Group policies, internal controls, and reporting standards.
  • Participate in ad-hoc analyses, business cases, and strategic projects.
  • Create new reports and develop processes to respond to business information needs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and controls.

Requirements

  • Great analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Solid knowledge of controlling, P&L analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills, working with complex datasets and Power Pivot/Power Query; experience with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g. SAP, Power BI).
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and matrix organization.
  • Deep attention to detail with a structured and proactive approach.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with senior and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced international environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Variance Analysis (Hours Utilization and Hourly rate calculations) considered a plus.
