Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual actual financial closes, meeting deadlines and explaining variations.
- Handle Revenue & COS Recognition in Oracle system.
- Perform Control Account reconciliations (WIP/UBR/UER) between Project Module and General Ledger.
- Prepare Project Flash Data for WA Flash submission.
- Generate various MIS Reports for finance stakeholders.
- Interact with Business Unit Project Controller during month-end close, explaining P&L and balance sheet variances.
- Prepare records for correct Revenue Recognition and Project Accounting.
- Conduct month-end checks (EAC movements, Loss Accruals, Cost Corrections).
- Prepare post month-end reports for local management.
- Perform WIP analysis, UBR/UER bridge analysis, and analyze by project profitability.
- Manage project maintenance in Oracle, including timely closure, cost/revenue reconciliations, and clearance of differences.
- Generate project financial reports like Noetix Master Data file, ITD Invoice reports, and Project Status Inquiry reports.
- Perform project analysis in Oracle, including reviewing project budgets, accuracy of information in project request forms, and actual versus budget analysis of gross profit and order backlog.
- Identify efficiency and process improvements for better financial information and reporting.
- Provide support for internal and external audit requests.
- Undertake various ad-hoc projects as directed by Manager/Project Controller.
Requirements
- Flexible to work as per Asia Pacific timelines, especially during month ends.
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in FP&A Domain.
- Hands-on experience in ERP, MS Office, and reporting tools.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant, CMA.
- Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP.
- System Knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management.
- Power BI or related presentation tools.
