Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Federal, State, and local tax returns for U.S. entities
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax filings and maintain compliance with IRS regulations and State tax authorities
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and update internal processes accordingly
- Manage withholding tax obligations and quarterly estimated State and Local tax payments
- Prepare tax calculations and postings, including prior-year adjustments, current-year tax accounting, quarterly provision calculations, and responses to Group Tax inquiries
- Support tax audits and dispute resolution by gathering documentation
- Drive direct tax process improvements and automation initiatives
- Manage Transfer Pricing, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
Requirements
- At least 3 years of U.S. corporate tax compliance experience (Federal and State corporate income tax) in a large public accounting or corporate environment
- Experience managing multi-state filings and exposure to tax audits
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Taxation (required)
- Knowledge of U.S. Federal Income Tax, SALT, and foundational international tax; familiarity with IFRS (IAS 12, IAS 37, IAS 20)
- Proficiency with CorpTax, SAP, Advanced Excel, and data analytics tools (Power BI)
- Strong analytical skills, ability to meet strict deadlines, and high ethical standards
- Clear communication skills with internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s in Taxation preferred
- CPA designation is highly preferred
- Master of Science in Taxation (MST) is a plus
- Experience in multinational environments is a plus
- Knowledge of Sales & Use tax is a plus
