Responsibilities
- Contribute to the definition of strategy for the Field Service Region focusing on Data Centers and Advisory customers.
- Serve as the key partner for the relevant business leader in determining strategy for area of responsibility, aligning with wider strategy, and implementing actions.
- Translate strategy into business plans and establish measurable targets.
- Oversee the business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility.
- Serve as the interface of the plant to Global Product Group Controller/Division Controller/Operational Manager and others.
- Monitor progress and provide insight and analysis to support operational decision-making.
- Identify issues and advise management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve.
- Identify and communicate commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions.
- Establish and oversee processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information.
- Ensure high quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar.
- 12+ years of experience in accounting, finance, mergers & acquisitions, P&L ownership/support, and/or controllership.
- Experience with ERP (SAP strongly preferred).
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to multitask.
- Competitive, strong leadership, attention to detail, self-critic, and excellent customer service attitude.
- Must possess authorization to work for ABB in the US.
