Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition of strategy for the Field Service Region focusing on Data Centers and Advisory customers.
  • Serve as the key partner for the relevant business leader in determining strategy for area of responsibility, aligning with wider strategy, and implementing actions.
  • Translate strategy into business plans and establish measurable targets.
  • Oversee the business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility.
  • Serve as the interface of the plant to Global Product Group Controller/Division Controller/Operational Manager and others.
  • Monitor progress and provide insight and analysis to support operational decision-making.
  • Identify issues and advise management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve.
  • Identify and communicate commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions.
  • Establish and oversee processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information.
  • Ensure high quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar.
  • 12+ years of experience in accounting, finance, mergers & acquisitions, P&L ownership/support, and/or controllership.
  • Experience with ERP (SAP strongly preferred).
  • Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to multitask.
  • Competitive, strong leadership, attention to detail, self-critic, and excellent customer service attitude.
  • Must possess authorization to work for ABB in the US.
