We are seeking a Field Service Team Manager in Kempton Park, South Africa, to lead a team of Field Service Engineers across Eastern and Southern Africa. The role involves driving a strong QHSE culture, ensuring excellent customer experience, and managing team performance and development.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Field Service Engineers for decanters, high-speed separators, and heat exchangers.
Maintain operational capability while balancing customer, business, and team needs.
Secure a strong QHSE culture within the team.
Provide directions and ensure a strong customer-oriented mindset.
Ensure FSEs with the correct skills are selected for complex jobs.
Ensure the team is equipped with the right tools.
Develop, motivate, and coach direct reports and secure competence development.
Manage basic performance issues within the team.
Conduct FSE employee reviews and update competence profiles/skills matrices.
Ensure effective management of people in remote areas.
Ensure proper handover of jobs for invoicing on time.
Implement continuous efficiency improvements using innovative processes and technologies.
Lead change management to adapt to new market demands.
Implement and follow up on relevant KPIs.

Requirements

Degree/diploma in Engineering or similar.
At least 5 years of experience managing teams of technicians/engineers.
Strong experience in service, maintenance, repair, and assistance processes.
Exceptional time management/organizational skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Solid computer and digital competence.
