As a Field Service Engineer in Shah Alam, you will execute service, installation, testing, repairing, and maintaining of High-Speed Separator, Decanter, and Plate Heat Exchanger at customer sites. This role involves troubleshooting, technical support, and proactive recommendations for spares, requiring at least 80 days of travel per year.

Responsibilities

Execute service, installation, testing, repairing, and maintaining of High-Speed Separator, Decanter, and Plate Heat Exchanger at customer sites.
Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor repairs on standard products.
Conduct plant audits, inspections, and preventive maintenance for key customers.
Investigate and resolve technical and process problems (mechanical, electrical, and system).
Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and other channels.
Prepare service jobs for execution and ensure timely resolution.
Follow up on actions and promises made to customers.
Write service and technical reports on site.
Implement new methods or systems from Alfa Laval Service Bulletins.
Capture installed base on site and communicate sales opportunities.
Proactively recommend spares to customers.
Execute service in Service Centres when required.
Report unsafe practices and incidents for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role.
Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in the relevant field.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to adapt to changing environments, multitask, and manage time effectively.
Proficient in documentation and reporting.
Ability to travel (minimum 80 days/year).
