As a Field Service Engineer in Cagayan De Oro, you will be responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by providing professional field service and consultancy for air compressors and related industrial equipment. This role involves on-site repairs, maintenance, and reporting, requiring adaptability, technical expertise, and excellent customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional field service and consultancy on air compressors and related industrial equipment.
  • Carry out service, repairs, maintenance, and overhaul of equipment.
  • Inform customer-in-charge upon arrival and ensure adherence to safety rules.
  • Collect local purchase parts from suppliers.
  • Follow instructions in the scope of works as per service work order.
  • Test run and monitor serviced units, recording all readings.
  • Write job reports and recommend follow-up actions.
  • Explain necessary follow-up or repair jobs to customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and compressor room.
  • Provide feedback to supervisors/managers on required follow-up actions.
  • Give technical and quality feedback to technical specialists.
  • Record all time spent in field, workshop, and other activities.
  • Provide timely and correct feedback on work orders and reports.
  • Work closely with sales and project teams to satisfy customers.
  • Maintain proper PPE, service vehicle, personal tools, and workshop equipment.
  • Utilize Mobile Asset Management Tool (MAM).
  • Work closely with Service Planners and Service Supervisors.
  • Ensure jobs are completed with a first-time fix objective.

Requirements

  • Adaptable problem-solver with flexibility to adjust work schedule.
  • Self-driven entrepreneur, proactive and accountable.
  • Field work experience in a workshop repair environment.
  • Technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Proficient in using technology to drive efficiency.
  • Valid driver's license for travel to customer sites.
  • Efficient work management skills.

  • Coaching and Mentoring skills.
  • Product technical knowledge.
  • Degree in BSEE / BSME / BSECE.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
