Microsoft is seeking an on-site Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Campus Manager to implement EHS programs, manage risk, and ensure compliance within datacenters. This role involves incident investigation, risk assessment, and training to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, contributing to the core infrastructure powering Microsoft's cloud services.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for EHS program implementation for specific Microsoft Datacenters within a Region.
  • Be accountable for EHS performance metrics and the implementation of annual improvement plans.
  • Periodically inspect, audit, and review safe work practices to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct workplace risk/exposure assessments for various classes of hazards.
  • Support incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify, communicate, and implement corrective and preventive actions globally.
  • Conduct and deliver regulatory training programs to meet EHS requirements.
  • Embody Microsoft's culture and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field AND multiple years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations, OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Must pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field AND extensive years of Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations experience.
  • OR Master's Degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field AND extensive years of Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations experience.
  • OR equivalent experience.
