Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and industry best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and incident investigations, developing corrective and preventive actions to minimize safety and environmental risks.
- Partner with plant leadership, operations, and facility teams to identify hazards, implement safety improvements, and promote a strong culture of safety throughout the organization.
- Manage environmental compliance activities, including regulatory reporting, recordkeeping, permits, audits, waste management, and sustainability initiatives.
- Develop, deliver, and monitor EHS training programs, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety, employee engagement, and environmental performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental engineering, Civil Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or Environmental Compliance; 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, occupational health and safety standards, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience conducting safety audits, incident investigations, hazard assessments, and corrective action implementation in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.
