Ericsson is seeking an Engineer specializing in Strong Authentication to join their team in Noida, India. This role involves managing and implementing robust authentication solutions, including MFA, SSO, and IAM, across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in authentication protocols, cryptography, and automation, with a focus on ensuring secure and seamless access.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage MFA, SSO, IAM, and related security solutions.
  • Support Windows Hello for Business, certificate-based authentication, TOTP, push notifications, and passkeys.
  • Maintain Radius AAA, SAML, OAuth, and secure authentication integrations.
  • Ensure adherence to PKI standards, cryptography best practices, FIDO protocols, ITIL, and ISMS controls.
  • Implement and manage NPS and Network Policy Server extensions.
  • Deploy and manage reverse proxies, Active Directory, Azure DevOps, Docker containers, and relevant cloud infrastructure components.
  • Utilize PowerShell scripting and KQL for automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose authentication and security issues using Postman, Fiddler, and other debugging tools.
  • Optimize IAM solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and implement enhancements.

Requirements

  • Strong IAM, MFA, SSO, Entra ID, Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, PKI, and authentication protocol knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Hello for Business, certificate-based authentication, FIDO, passkeys, TOTP, and push authentication.
  • PowerShell scripting, KQL, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting capability.
  • Experience with reverse proxy, Docker, Azure DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and debugging tools like Postman and Fiddler.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, authentication security, or IT operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Entra ID, IAM protocols, MFA, SSO, cryptographic standards.
  • Experience with NPS extensions, Radius AAA, cryptography implementation, and authentication performance optimization.
  • Exposure to Agile/DevOps practices, ISMS controls, security compliance, and cloud-native identity operations.
  • Understanding of passwordless authentication adoption and Zero Trust-aligned access models.
