The Domain Technical Architect will be responsible for planning, defining, and executing critical infrastructure projects, including data center builds and AI infrastructure. This role involves overseeing mechanical and electrical systems, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

Define project goals, schedules, and budgets.
Review engineering drawings, construction documents, and technical specifications.
Manage cross-functional teams, facilities personnel, and external vendors.
Deliver critical capacity (DC builds, cabling, compute, and AI infrastructure) on schedule.
Oversee electrical distribution, UPS/generator backups, redundant cooling paths (N+1 / 2N), fire detection, and building automation systems.
Track capital and operational expenditures.
Manage vendor contracts.
Forecast resource procurement.
Identify technical and non-technical roadblocks.
Mitigate site risks.
Ensure compliance with building and safety codes (such as NFPA, NEC, or OSHA).

Requirements

Experience with planning and scope definition.
Experience with execution and oversight of critical capacity projects.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (including UPS, cooling, fire detection, building automation).
Experience with budget and resource management.
Ability to identify and mitigate risks.
Understanding of building and safety codes (NFPA, NEC, OSHA).
