Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop Project and MRO Documentation teams.
- Balance workloads and resources for efficient operations.
- Collaborate with sales, project management, customers, and stakeholders.
- Establish team goals, performance metrics, and reporting processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify best practices.
- Coordinate training, succession planning, and knowledge sharing.
- Support resource planning, including coverage for absences and vacancy management.
- Set individual performance objectives, provide feedback, and support growth.
- Conduct documentation audits for quality, compliance, and consistency.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for documentation management.
- Partner with project teams and sales during customer discussions.
- Review customer specifications to identify risks, opportunities, and scope changes.
- Escalate issues, coordinate with stakeholders, and remove barriers.
- Develop reporting tools, progress tracking, and early-warning indicators.
- Communicate key metrics, lessons learned, and process improvements.
- Support a safe and compliant workplace by following ESH requirements.
- Perform other responsibilities reasonably related to the role.
Requirements
- Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating teams in a documentation, project support, operations, quality, or related environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.
- Proficiency with business software applications and digital tools used for documentation and reporting.
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and drive actions to completion.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, quality, and operational excellence.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience will also be considered.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in documentation management, technical documentation, quality assurance documentation, or document control.
- Background in project management, project coordination, or project support functions.
- Knowledge of documentation requirements within engineering, manufacturing, automation, or industrial environments.
- Experience developing team performance metrics, reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives.
- Additional European language skills.
- Experience supporting customer-facing projects and contractual documentation requirements.
