Responsibilities

  • Represent Volvo Financial Services in Quebec and Eastern Ontario.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with distributors, OEMs, and retail customers.
  • Achieve specific measurable sales and operational results, including exceeding loan and lease volume quotas.
  • Increase Finance Penetration and achieve profitable growth by meeting Net Margin and Interest Rate Spread targets.
  • Promote Waiver products, Parts & Service Financing, and other VFS products.
  • Effectively manage the territory through analysis of opportunities and development of actionable plans.
  • Support OEM efforts on conquest and targeted customers through team selling.
  • Track and enter sales activities, plans, progress, and results into Salesforce.com.
  • Adhere to Volvo Employee Practices Policies.

Requirements

  • Proven financial services expertise in the equipment finance industry (5-10 years progressive experience).
  • Strong expertise in financial analysis, including understanding financial statements and their impact on operations and risk.
  • Ability to design, present, and progress finance solutions that meet customer needs while delivering VFS objectives.
  • Strong expertise in sales/marketing, strategic forecasting/planning and implementation.
  • Proven problem-solving and customer service skills in a financial products environment.
  • Proven experience in structuring and negotiating finance transactions.
  • Strong technical skills in financing capital equipment and related business law requirements.
  • Understanding of leasing principles (tax aspects, cash management, off-balance sheet, lease versus buy decision making).
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic Marketing Action Plan (MAP) sales strategies.
  • Authorization to work in Canada.
  • Fluent in both English and French.

Desired Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Degree in Finance or Marketing is preferred.
  • Computer literate in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with any finance pricing tool is desired.
  • The ability to convey financial and business information clearly, professionally, and persuasively.
  • Ability to generate customer responses that are effective and consistently reliable.
