Responsibilities

  • Provide practical advice on product marketing and placement across markets and channels.
  • Support Sales on cross-border marketing, investor approaches, and distribution activities.
  • Maintain clear country and activity guidance based on applicable requirements.
  • Contribute to product development by identifying distribution risks and target-market considerations.
  • Support the governance of distributors and their networks, including due diligence and monitoring.
  • Advise on distribution arrangements and non-standard cases, outlining risks and options.
  • Translate regulatory requirements and legal advice into business guidance.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Product, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Operations, and Technology teams.
  • Document advice clearly and escalate material issues.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in asset management, fund distribution, distribution compliance, regulatory advisory, consulting, or governance.
  • Practical knowledge of European cross-border fund distribution and associated risks.
  • Understanding of how product features, target markets, and distribution channels affect distribution risk.
  • Proven ability to question established approaches and develop practical improvements.
  • Experience preparing guidance, procedures, training, or other governance material.
  • Ability to analyze cases, separate legal, regulatory, operational, and commercial points, and recommend practical steps.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Reliable and collaborative working style with accurate documentation and appropriate escalation.
