This internship in Shanghai focuses on supporting the Digital Hub Portfolio & Deployment Team at IKEA China. The intern will assist Digital Project Leaders, coordinate global and local project teams, maintain the Digital Roadmap, and contribute to the organization's digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Digital Project Leaders, supporting their daily project work.
  • Help coordinate and communicate with global and local project teams and stakeholders in China and Europe.
  • Support the maintenance of the Digital Roadmap for China.
  • Organize events such as Roadmap Planning Workshops.
  • Support the digital transformation of the organization.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within IKEA China.

Requirements

  • No limitation on major of study; business/data/technology related degrees are preferable.
  • Proficient in strategic planning and exceptional time management skills.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Outstanding documentation skills; comfortable working in office tools such as Powerpoint, Excel & Word.
  • Good coordination and communication skills; able to understand, communicate and negotiate with different stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

  • A quick learner with logic thinking by proven high GPA is a plus.
  • Relevant Internship experience within an international company or leadership experience at student union is preferable.
  • Experience in conducting workshops and/or community operations is a plus.
  • Existing working experience with digital tools such as JIRA, Confluence, is a plus.
