Responsibilities

Obtain promise date from released orders to supplier and keep system up to date.
Inquire with supplier when promise dates do not meet requirement and escalate with buyer.
Ensure that supplier ships on time so that material arrives on time.
Obtain shipment tracking information and share when requested.
Review material short reports and Oracle system to expedite materials as needed.
Inform buyer of discrepancies between shipped and ordered when quantities exceed order.
Obtain Information for reports and fill out reports as requested by area manager.
Escalate chronic non-delivery problems with buyer.
Provide delivery information to production and planning areas.
Maintain excellent communication with support departments and suppliers.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
Bilingual 90%
2 years of experience in dealing with suppliers or customers.
MRP management

Intermediate Excel skills (Vlookup, pivot tables).
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Communication skills both spoken and written.
Sense of urgency.
