Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and define solution architectures.
  • Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data solutions (ingestion, transformation, modeling, reporting).
  • Develop and support scalable data pipelines using Fivetran, Snowflake, and dbt.
  • Design and implement dimensional and analytical data models.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain semantic models within Power BI.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, visualizations, and DAX measures.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and performance.
  • Collaborate with teams to establish best practices for data architecture and management.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines, warehouse performance, and reporting models.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Synopsys' modern data platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, BI Engineering, Data Architecture, or related fields.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Power BI, and SQL (expert-level).
  • Strong experience with dimensional modeling, semantic modeling, data warehouse architecture, and data modeling best practices.
  • Proven experience building Power BI semantic models, writing DAX measures, and developing reports and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, governance, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
