Responsibilities
- Maintenance and upkeep of data center infrastructure.
- Server rack installation and hardware break-fix.
- Troubleshooting network issues and responding to emergent situations.
- Acting as a primary contact for internal customers and external service partners.
- Meeting SLAs against assigned trouble tickets and performing hardware troubleshooting.
- Performing on-call duties and participating in scheduled maintenance and change management.
- Contributing to documentation, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
- Potentially assisting in training less experienced team members.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines while lifting equipment up to 18kg.
- Working in a 24x7 shift rotation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
- 1+ years of computer networking experience.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution.
- Ability to operate efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 18kg.
- Willingness to work in cramped spaces or elevated locations.
- Adherence to health & safety guidelines.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures, including safety and security.
