Responsibilities
- Maintain and upkeep data center infrastructure.
- Perform server rack installation and hardware break-fix on various components.
- Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational stability incidents.
- Act as a primary contact for internal customers and external service partners.
- Meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets.
- Perform on-call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management.
- Contribute to documentation, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
- Support DC infrastructure equipment (racks, servers, networking devices, etc.).
- Perform routine operation activities like rack install, server break/fix, and rack decom.
- Maintain tidiness in operation areas.
Requirements
- 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
- 1+ years of computer networking experience.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Ability to lift and rack equipment.
- Willingness to work in cramped spaces or elevated locations.
- Adherence to health & safety guidelines.
- Ability to cover 24x7 shift rotation.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution.
- Experience operating efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience working in a colocation data center facility.
- 1+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience.
