Responsibilities
- Drive data center deals and overall infrastructure strategy for target regions.
- Understand the supplier base (Colocation providers and Real Estate developers), market dynamics, and develop strategic partnerships.
- Set business development plans in line with organizational strategy.
- Negotiate and close multi-million dollar contracts for capacity expansion.
- Understand technical requirements and negotiate solutions that meet business objectives.
- Ownership of business case creation and presentation to leadership.
- Prepare and give project reviews to senior management.
- Work in a high-pressure environment, pivot on changing requirements, and manage competing priorities.
- Build a culture of speed, flexibility, and frugality with business partners.
- Develop and implement new mechanisms to improve customer experience.
- Business Travel: 10-20%
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, management, real estate, or a related field.
- Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery.
- Experience directly related to the design or construction of large data center facilities (colocation or client owned/operated).
- 13+ years of transactional accounting field experience.
- Experience delivering results and generating transformational growth.
