Responsible for coordinating and administering import/export operations and managing local carriers. Key duties include managing various customs programs, permits, duty payments, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage PROSEC, NAFTA, Rule 8, SICEX
Handle temporary/definitive importation programs
Process timely duty IVA/DTA payments through pediments
Manage duty risk and exposure
Prepare import and export permits through USA/Mexico government offices
Prepare entry documents consolidating weekly activities
Apply duty-deferral programs
Prepare Certificates of Origin by country
Administer FAST/CTPAT program for EHP Mexico
Administer Designated Local Carrier
Apply all requirements related to EMS, ISO9001/14001/50001/Green Spirit
Work safely, hygienically and in an environmentally responsible manner
Comply with ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, 50001 operational procedures

Requirements

Fluent bilingual (English / Spanish)
BA in Commerce Degree
Knowledge of Mexican & USA Customs Laws, Rules and Regulations
6+ years of experience and knowledge in Customs and Traffic (Preferable)
Familiar with the Harmonized tariff and explanatory notes
Knowledge of Valuation Laws
Requires up-to-date actualizations on customs regulations
Experience on Traffic and Logistics operations
