The role involves managing customer enquiries, quotations, and sales administration to support the company's growth in the security and fire door manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on quotations and provide updates on potential order conversions.
  • Monitor contract and enquiry progress, maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage the Sales Inbox, pre-qualifying enquiries for Estimators.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, accurately recording enquiry and client information.
  • Liaise with customers to clarify requirements for quotation preparation.
  • Support forecasting and quotation conversion reporting.
  • Ensure customer enquiries are responded to within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activity and customer communications.
  • Update customer and enquiry information within company systems.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, or administrative position.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confidence using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting quotation, estimating or sales processes would be advantageous but is not essential.
